A victim of the May 1st bomb blast in Nyanya, near Abuja city centre, Mr. Chiamaka Dominic is reportedly dead. The victim died due to complication resulting from a surgical operation conducted on one of his legs.

We gathered that he died on Sunday night at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, where he was placed on treatment.
It was further gathered that, the surgery was funded by Women for Change Development Initiative, an NGO owned by the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan. Report also says the NGO paid N1.4 million for the failed operation.
Dominic, before his death was a driver. He hailed from Ehime-Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State. He left behind two children and a pregnant wife.
Relatively, one of his friends and relative, Felix Okwudiri, confirmed the death to Punch. He said: “Yes, Chiamaka Dominic is dead; we are on our way to the Hospital, but I am yet to get in touch with his wife,” he stated.
