The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENGW, and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, have called off their industrial action.
The decision to call of the strike by both union was taken after a meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige.
Recall that both unions recently embarked an industrial action due to some unresolved issues by the Federal Government relating to the welfare of oil workers among other things.
