Following continuous surveillance mounted by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State, three suspects have been apprehended over alleged illegal operation of oil depot in the state.
While disclosing this to pressmen, the State Command of Corps, Mr. Aliyu Yushau, said the arrest was carried out on Tuesday at the Dawanua market in Dawakin Tofe Local Government Area of the State. Yushau also revealed that at about 240 drums of petrol equivalent of 63,000 litres were recovered from the suspects. He further said that investigations were still ongoing and that the suspects would be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
