Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, has approved the appointment of a new management board for Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Wikki Tourists.
This follows an unimpressive start to the 2016/2017 season, which saw the team eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup.
The state’s highest authority sanctioned the dissolution of the Isa Matori-led board last week.
The new board will be headed by Auwalu Baba Jada with Pascal Patrick and Abdullahi Ibrahim as the board’s adviser and secretary respectively.
Muhammed Abdu, Sadiq Zaria, Paul Gambar and Umar Ilelah make up the members of the management team.
Wikki Tourists are currently 19th on the table. They kick off the second stanza of the season with a tie against Abia Warriors on May 21.
