NPFL Week 29 review: Enyimba maintain four-point lead at the top

Enyimba beat Dolphins 2-0 in Aba, to maintain their lead at the top of the table with four points, after the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Week 29 game on Sunday.

Andrew Abalogu and Ifeanyi Anaemena scored in the 64th and 74th minute respectively, to ensure the People’s Elephant got all three points.

The result means Enyimba now have 55 points from 29 matches.

Warri Wolves are in second place, after they hammered Kwara United 3-0 in Warri.

Champions, Kano Pillars thrashed Abia Warriors 3-0, Sunshine Stars lost ground in the title race as they lost 2-3 to Nasarawa United at the Akure Township Stadium, while Wikki Tourists drew 1-1 with Lobi Stars.

Sharks defeated Ifeanyi Ubah FC 1-0 in Port Harcourt and Enugu Rangers claimed a 2-1 home win against Shooting Stars.

Bayelsa United crushed El-Kanemi Warriors 4-1, while Akwa United beat Heartland 1-0 in Uyo.
