Sharks continued their fight against relegation, with a 1-0 win at home against Kano Pillars on Monday, in a Nigeria Premier Football League fixture.

Daniel Jackson grabbed the winning goal in the 62nd minute of the game at the Sharks Stadium.

Earlier in the day, Dolphins claimed a 2-0 victory over fellow relegation strugglers, Bayelsa United.

Ebitimi Agoguo opened scoring in the 10th minute, capitalizing on a goalkeeper error to tap on. Wilson Andoh put the result beyond doubt with 15 minutes left.

Despite the win, Dolphins are still in the drop zone, while Bayelsa United are bottom of the table, after failing to win in their last 12 matches.

Dolphins, despite the win remain in the drop zone, while Bayelsa United who sit in last position on the log are now without a win in their last 12 games.
