Ikorodu United ended their 11-match winless streak, with a 3-1 win over Heartland at the Agege Stadium in Lagos on Saturday.
Benin striker, Anthony Oussou, gave the visitors the lead in the 10th minute of play. Heartland wasted chances to double their advantage, before Junior Merenini slammed in a cross in the added of the first half.
Ebiye made it 2-1 in the second half, after Heartland failed to clear their lines in defence. Ojukwu Ifegwu ensured they got all three points, when he converted from the spot in the 83rd minute.
Despite the victory, Ikorodu United are still bottom with nine points from 14 matches.
In the second game played at the same venue, MFM FC Akwa United 3-0.
Sikiru Olatubosun scored twice, while Stephen Odey also netted, as Olukoya Boys took all three points.
