Head coach of Rangers, Imama Amapakabo, has said he is keen for the club to avoid defeat in their remaining nine fixtures in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), as they seek to clinch the title.

The Flying Antelopes are currently second on the table, only behind to leaders Wikki Tourists on goals difference.

Rangers, who are looking to win their first title in 32 years, take on current champions Enyimba on Sunday in Port Harcourt.

“My players have nine finals to play in the NPFL, starting with the game against Enyimba in Port Harcourt on Sunday,” Amapakabo told the club’s official website.

“It’s important for us to keep working hard and make sure we don’t lose focus in the remaining games.

“Our fans have high hopes this season and we hope to make them happy at the end of the day.”
