The point ensured that they extended their lead at the top of the log. The Abia team now has 62 points from 34 games and is six points clear of Warri Wolves, which occupies second place.
Wolves’ home match against United was rescheduled for Thurday, because of a water-logged pitch.
In other games played on Wednesday, El-Kanemi Warriors lost 2-1 to Giwa at home, Wikki Tourists defeated IfeanyiUbah 2-1, Heartland pipped Sharks 1-0, while Shooting Stars clinched a 1-0 victory over Taraba United.
Abia Warriors beat Lobi Stars 2-0, Kwara United and Bayelsa United drew 1-1 and Dolphins won 2-1 at home against defending champions, Kano Pillars. .
