Nasarawa United defeated Rivers United 1-0, in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clash on Sunday.
Adama Hassan scored the only goal of the encounter in the 17th minute, following an assist from Thomas Zenke.
The win sees Nasarawa move up to ninth place with 27 points, while Rivers maintain their 16th position on the NPFL table.
Former Super Eagles handler, Austin Eguavoen, won his first match in charge of Sunshine Stars, as they saw off champions Enugu Rangers 2-0 in Akure.
The hosts took the lead after the restart through Ajibola Otegbeye, who converted his spot kick after Osas Okoro was penalized for handling the ball in the area.
Alaba Adeniyi then added a second in the 77th minute to seal all three points.
Sunshine moves up to 14th place with 24 points, while Rangers are 19th with 19 points but with two outstanding fixtures.
