NPFL mid-week round up: Shooting Stars win again, Giwa FC down Rangers

Shooting Stars tasted victory again after two straight losses, as they beat Nasarawa 1-0, despite playing with 10 men.

Ajani Ibrahim’s 7th minute effort was ruled off for offside, but eight minutes later, Bayo Fabiyi opened scoring.

Shooting Stars had Moses James sent off in the 37th minute, but still went on to double their lead in the 47th minute through Sunday Adetunji.

Gbenga Thomas reduced the deficit in the 59th minute, but Nasarawa failed to find the equalizer against the resolute side.

David Edoh’s late goal ensured Giwa Football Club of Jos, took all three points against Rangers.

Edoh struck in the 87th minute of the rescheduled match.

Sharks FC failed to build on their 1-0 away win over Bayelsa United on Match Day 25 in Oghara, as they drew 0-0 with Lobi Stars at the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt.
