NPFL Match Day 33 Review: Wikki stay top despite defeat, Shooting Stars hammer Pillars

Wikki Tourists are still top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), despite losing 1-0 to IfeanyiUbah FC in Nnewi on Sunday.

Jimoh Oni scored the only goal of the game with 20 minutes left, to secure maximum points.

Rivers United moved to second position, after defeating Plateau United 2-0.

Enugu Rangers dropped to fourth place, following a 1-0 loss to Nasarawa United at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi. Shooting Stars crushed former champions Kano Pillars 4-0. Niger Tornadoes boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 victory over Lobi Stars in Lokoja.

Ikorodu United and El-Kanemi Warriors drew 1-1, while the match between MFM FC and Abia Warriors has been postponed to Monday at the Agege Stadium.
