Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) leaders, Plateau United, bounced back on Wednesday with a 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah, to stay top of the league.
Emma James netted the only goal of the encounter from the penalty spot in the 13th minute.
Plateau now has 54 points on the log.
The game between champions Enugu Rangers and MFM FC in Enugu, was postponed due to heavy rain which resulted in a water-logged pitch. The Flying Antelopes were leading 1-0.
Nasarawa United defeated El-Kanemi 2-1 thanks to Adamu Hassan’s brace, Enyimba came back from a goal down to beat Lobi Stars in Calabar 2-1 and Sunshine Stars claimed a 1-0 away victory at Rivers United.
Kano Pillars lost 1-0 to Katsina United, while Shooting Stars conceded a late goal to settle for a 1-1 away draw with Remo Stars.
Wikki Tourists defeated ABS 1-0 in Bauchi, Gombe United drew 0-0 at home with Niger Tornadoes while Akwa United held Abia Warriors to a 0-0 draw.
