Plateau United are still top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table, following a 2-0 victory over Kano Pillars at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos on Sunday.
Ibeh Johnson and Elisha Golbe scored in each half, to seal the win for the home side.
It was Plateau’s sixth win at the Rwang Pam Stadium this season and Pillars’ first loss in their last six games.
El-Kanemi Warriors continued their winning run at the El-Kanemi Stadium to 20 games, by defeating Niger Tornadoes 2-0.
In Sagamu, struggling Remo Stars hammered ABS 3-0. The win takes them off the bottom of the log above Wikki Tourists, who were not in action this weekend, due to Enugu Rangers’ CAF Champions League assignment.
IfeanyiUbah FC lost 2-0 away to Nasarawa United, Abia Warriors saw off Lobi Stars 2-1, Shooting Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by hosts Gombe and Enyimba also held MFM FC to a 1-1 draw in Lagos.
