FC IfeanyiUbah are the new leaders of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), after they defeated visiting Plateau United 2-0, to go above Enugu Rangers.
Pascal Seka gave IfeanyiUbah the lead with a first-half penalty, before Cameroonian midfielder, Tamen Medrano, struck from 20 yards to confirm all three points.
They now have 19 points from 10 games.
Rangers could only manage a 1-1 draw with MFM FC and now occupy second position with 18 points.
In the other games played on Wednesday evening, Shooting Stars beat Ikorodu United 2-0 at home, El-Kanemi Warriors lost 1-0 at Rivers United, Giwa FC claimed a 2-0 home victory against Kano Pillars and Lobi Stars drew 1-1 with Wikki Tourists.
Akwa United lost 2-1 at home to Abia Warriors and Tornadoes drew 2-2 with Sunshine Stars.
