NPFL Match Day 10: Plateau United lose again, Kano Pillars end Katsina’s run

Plateau United were beaten for the second time in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, after losing 1-0 to FC IfeanyiUbah in Nnewi on Sunday.

Prince Aggreh scored the only goal of the encounter from the penalty spot in the second half.

Plateau however remain top of the table.

El-Kanemi Warriors climbed up into second position, following a 2-0 home win over Nasarawa United. ABS FC are now in third place, after they saw off Wikki Tourists 1-0.

David Tyavkasse scored a late winner, as Lobi Stars beat Enyimba 2-1 in Makurdi.

Former champions Kano Pillars ended Katsina United’s five-match unbeaten run, winning 1-0 at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

Rivers United lost 1-0 at Sunshine Stars and Niger Tornadoes also beat Gombe United 1-0.
