Manu Garba has said he hopes to be successful with Gombe United, after he was appointed as the new technical adviser of the club.
The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles coach, led Nigeria’s U-17 side to the world title in 2013 and is optimistic he will achieve similar success with the Desert Scorpions.
“Working with Gombe United is a new challenge for me and I hope to make the team a strong force in the league,” he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“The NPFL is a competitive league and we hope to compete well against the top teams.
“The challenge will be enormous but we hope to make it a successful one.”
Gombe United secured promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on the last day of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
