Former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba, will now play their home fixtures in the new season in Calabar.
This new development was confirmed by the club’s chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu.
Enyimba have played their home matches in Umuahia and Port Harcourt last season, as the Enyimba International Stadium is under reconstruction.
“Playing in Calabar will help our preparations,” Anyasi-Agwu said.
“We have previously played in Calabar and we chose to return there because there is no premier league club based there, so Enyimba we will be the focus there.”
The Peoples Elephant will welcome Sunshine Stars on the opening day of the new season.
