Legendary Nollywood actor, born Joseph Adu and popularly known as Jab Adu, is reportedly dead.
Details regarding his death are still sketchy but Adu reportedly passed on in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital, on Sunday.
The dramatist was renowned for his act as ‘Bassey Okon’ in ‘The Village Headmaster.’
A banker cum film producer, he also featured in “Bisi, Daughter of the River” and “Adio’s Family”, a series he co-produced with NTA.
He died at the age of 83.
