Juan Mata has stated that he is not interested about speculation around his future at Chelsea.
The 25-year-old, who moved from Valencia in 2011, has been rumoured to be among the players that Mourinho wants to get rid of at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Spain international, who is away at the Confederations Cup, wants to meet with the Portuguese manager, before knowing what to believe.
“Nobody at Chelsea has told me that Mourinho wants me out,” he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
“When I finished the season I was told that they were very happy with my performances and with the two years I’ve spent with the club.
“I have three years left on my contract. I’m very happy with Chelsea.
“Mourinho? I’d prefer to wait until I meet him and work with him before I judge him. That’s simple logic.”
