NFF officials have stated that coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, would no longer enjoy long training camps, which was the case before now.
Prior to the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, the players and coaching staff of the team, spent about four weeks in training camps, before the final squad was announced.
“Camping for the Eagles will not be like before where they stay in camp for like a month before a game,” a top official told MTNFootball.
“Keshi already has a clear picture of his team and as such we don’t expect him to have an extended camping like it used to be.”
It is understood that the federation’s finances, have taken a big hit, after about N700million which was spent on the Nations Cup, will be removed from their annual government subvention.
