NNPC Aircraft overshoots runway in Warri

Tragedy was averted on Wednesday, after a Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) aircraft, operated by Aero Contractors, overshot the runaway, after it landed at the Osubi Airport in Warri, Delta State.
The Acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Tumini Green, confirmed the incident in a statement, stating that the plane was on a routine operation to Warri, when it happened.
He also asserted in the statement that there were no casulaties or injuries, the appropriate aviation agencies have been contacted and investigations have begun.
