The Nigeria National League (NNL), has moved the Super Four play-offs, to help the participating teams prepare well.
The competition was initially scheduled to take place between November 18 and 20, but will now be played from November 27 to 29.
Ikorodu United, MFM FC, Niger Tornadoes and Plateau United will all be battling for supremacy.
A statement released by the secretary of the second-tier league, Lawrence Kathen, said: “We received complaints from the clubs involved asking for extension of time to enable them get ready and we saw the need to oblige them.
“We planned to round off the season before the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Nigeria Football Federation, which will now hold in the month of December. It is okay by the NNL; we are still committed to organizing a befitting Super Four for our League.”
The four teams are all expected to play in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) next season, no matter the outcome of the play-offs.
