Embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has urged the trial judge presiding over his case at the Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice John Tsoho to hands-off the matter.
Addressing journalists yesterday, Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor claimed that the position of the judge on the matter is the reason for its demand, stressing that the defence team has asked the Court of Appeal to re-assign the case.
Ejiofor said, “Though the defence is not accusing the judge of being biased, it is just that the position of the judge is very obvious to the whole world.
“That is why we have asked the Court of Appeal to reassign the matter.”
