A former New Media Director for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Deji Adeyanju, has said the greatest weakness of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was his love for money.

Adeyanju said this while reacting to the re-emergence of Kanu in Jerusalem, on Friday

Kanu, who was last seen in September 2017 when military men invaded his residence in Afaraukwu in Abia State, was seen praying in Jerusalem on Friday.

However, Adeyanju observed that Kanu’s reappearance may not be unconnected to the 2019 elections.

Stating that Kanu may be broke, the activist claimed that the IPOB leader needed “to cash out majorly in this election period.”

In a series of tweets, Adeyanju wrote: “I hear Nnamdi Kanu is back again, I guess he wants to play a role in the 2019 elections.

“My advice to him is simple: Don’t mess it up again this time around. He had a fantastic opportunity the last time and messed it up by calling on people to boycott Anambra polls.

“If he comes again with his no election in Igbo land then we all know who he is working for.

“The guy’s greatest weakness is his love for money. Ask any of the South East governors, they will confirm this. The guy loves money too much. Hope he proves many of us wrong this time.

“The guy may be broke and needs to cash out majorly in this election period. One thing is very clear, Igbos have a major stake in this election.

“I will not spare anyone who works against the possibility of an Igbo Vice President in 2019 and potential 2023 Presidency.

“I love my brother Nnamdi Kanu very much and like I have always said, I wish him the best at all times. I hope and pray he makes the right decision this time.

“I always mean well even if I come across as though I don’t. Welcome back bro.”
