Nigerians reacts to Ekeremadu’s comment on military takeover

Nigerians on social media have reacted to the statement credited to the Deputy President of the Senate where he was quoted to have said that there is the possibility of the military taking over in the country.

While some believe that the statement was uncalled for, others said the lawmaker had the right to express himself. They, however, warned him against making inciting comments.

Here are some comments as collated by DAILY POST:

@GordonMuero, “The man is not speaking for the Army, he’s simply piecing together all the signs. If the rascality of some of these govs go beyond 2019, then we should begin to kiss our democracy goodbye. There’re too many red flags already.”

@LabaranYusua,” If I were mr minister of justice and attorney general of the federation I will file a case charging ekweremadu for treason.”
