Nigerians disown Atiku Abubakar over comment on recession, three square meals

Nigerians are reacting to a statement credited to the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, saying recession will come to an end when every citizen can afford three square meal a day. 

Atiku had made the remark, following declaration by the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, saying Nigeria is out of recession. 

However, some Nigerians, while reacting to the remark via Facebook condemned the Waziri of Adamawa over his stance.

They wrote: DrSegzy NotinBy NatureOloye , “When there’s no recession we don’t eat three square meal…ur talk are too cheap. PMB till 2022.”

Kenneth Chidi Onyekaonwu, “It goes beyond three square meal.”

Salami Moses Babatunde, “You are part of the problems in Nigeria.”

Attahir Muhammad Na Iya, “Your ambition to become president might be frustrated by masses as they know who you are.”

Osim Egwu, “Atiku what is Nigeria? pls I need Biafra”

Alhaji Yusuf Taofeeq, “Please stop pretending. You are part of Nigeria’s problem, our problem is not food food every time. Without government intervention Nigerians can eat more than five time a day. Don’t use food to destroy good plan.”

Olajide Adesanwo, “It is only an idiot and a lazy man, that eats three square meal. So he should forget that ambition of becoming the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Abdullahi Mariam, “Please u old people should go and rest for the youths to take over, u all HV been a traitor” Don Pedro, “Atiku just think Nigerians don’t even have brains. When Atiku was the vice president, did Nigerian even see anything like one square meal?

Olalekan Adedeji Ekinne, “I do not hate Atiku but I will never support him. Instead of him and OBJ to revamp our Education sector, they went ahead to build world class Universities for themselves!”
