Good morning! Here are 10 things you need to know this morning:

1. Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo have both declared their assets in line with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A statement issued by the president’s Head of Media Team, Garba Shehu disclosed this on Saturday.

2. No fewer than 11 persons were reportedly killed on Saturday in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital when a bomb went off inside a mosque near the Monday market. Report says several others who were injured in the explosion were transported to hospitals for treatment.

3. President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he has not authorised anyone to ban officials of past administrations, including ministers, from travelling, hence they should be treated with respect at various airports that they prefer to use to travel abroad.

4. Former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako who had since been declared wanted by Jonathan’s government has now returned to Nigeria. Report says Nyako is making effort to reach President Buhari.

5. Former militant and leader of the Ijaw Youth Council, Mr. Asari Dokubo, has faulted the amnesty granted to the ex-Niger Delta militants by the late president, Umaru Yar’adua, saying it was another way of bribing the region so as transport oil to the north.

6. Former President, Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday said his political story cannot be complete without the mention of former Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, as he played a major role in his political career. Jonathan who made this known during a special thanksgiving service in his honour at the St. Peters Anglican Church, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State said he got to his current political height because people like Alamieyesiegha were behind him.

7. Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo has said it was unfair for anyone to stop religious leaders from participating in politics, saying that from the inception of time, the choice of national leaders had always been the work of God.

8. The United Kingdom has said it is ready to work closely with Nigeria to end its security and economic challenges. The country said it will lead a group of seven developed nations, G-7, to render support for Buhari in order to defeat Boko Haram.

9. An unconfirmed report says the embattled 19 APC members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly have been paid their outstanding salaries and allowances by the state government.

10. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has threatened to arrest any politician who is corrupt despite where the person runs to. He said he will work with President Buhari to ensure that corrupt politicians from Benue are brought to book.
