Good morning! Here are 10 things you need to know this morning:

1. According to reports, it will be a stormy session on Tuesday ( tomorrow) at the National Assembly when the senate will resume plenary following the ongoing trial of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Reports have claimed that some anti-Saraki Senators are now set to move for his impeachment while his supporters are prepared to resist such move.

2. Reports have claimed that death toll of Nigerians who lost their lives in the stampede at Mina, Saudi Arabia, last Thursday, has risen to 20 from the initial six. There are fears that more Nigerians may have lost their lives as many states have continued to search for their people.

3 .Indications have emerged, that President Muhammadu Buhari will send his ministerial list to President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday or Wednesday. According to report, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has consequently summoned an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC, for Monday ( today). Report says the meeting will also discuss some other controversial issues confronting the party.

4. The last Thursday stampede in Mecca has resulted in the death of the immediate Caretaker Chairman of Illela Local Government Area of Sokoto state, Alhaji Bello Gidan-Hamma, his mother, stepmother and two wives. This was confirmed by the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.

5. The Peoples Democratic Party , through its Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh has said that since the trail of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki appears political, the party will stand by him and will not search for his replacement. The party further denied that it was already looking for a senator from the opposition party to replace Saraki.

6. Reports have revealed that about 20 people were on Sunday killed while several others got injured following a fresh attack by members of the Boko Haram terrorists who invaded Malari and other surroundings of Konduga local government area of Borno state, and shot sporadically at residents.

7. A 52-year-old cobbler, Tope Ogunmodede, weekend reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Akure, the Ondo State capital. According to report, the deceased, prior to the incident had been having a mental health challenge.

8. Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has boasted that the All Progressives Congress, APC cannot stop his re-election in the state. He said this on Saturday while interacting with journalists at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. He argued that the APC was only engaged in propaganda against playing the real politics that could dethrone him.

9. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has boasted that despite its debt profile, it is not broke. In a statement by the Group Managing Director, NNPC, Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, the Corporation said it cannot be broke, given its assets base and equity holding in the petroleum industry.

10. A suit challenging the proposed increment in electricity tariff has been adjourned till November 24, 2015, by a Federal High Court in Lagos. The suit filed by a Lagos-based lawyer, Toluwani Adebiyi, is praying the court to stop any hike in electricity tariff until there is a significant improvement in power supply to, at least, 18 hours in a day in most Nigerian communities.
