Nigerian govt keeps mum 24 hours after surveillance helicopter crashes in Sokoto

24 hours after a helicopter suspected to be on surveillance mission reportedly crashed in Gandi town, Rabah Local Government Area of Sokoto State, the Nigerian government is yet to make any official statement on the incident.

At the moment, there is no official confirmation of the number of those on board, take off point and destination of the helicopter.

A check by DAILY POST on the official website of the Nigerian Civil aviation Authority (NCAA), Thursday morning, showed that there was no statement regarding the incident.

Also, efforts to reach NACA through its spokesperson, Mr Sam Adurogboye, could not yield any result at the time of this report.
