A young Nigerian footballer, simply identified as Michael Umanyika, Monday night lost his life while training with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zagatala PFK.
Umanyika who reportedly slumped during his first training session with Zagatala PFK after returning from vacation in Nigeria passed on despite the efforts of medical team to revive him.
Until his demise, the deceased, who joined Zagatala PFK last season made 20 appearances for the club.
