Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Gernot Rohr, will likely not pick Alex Iwobi, to start Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Uyo.

Iwobi missed the back-to-back games against Cameroon due to an injury.

He started Arsenal’s last Premier League fixture against Brighton and also scored his first league goal for the Gunners as they won 2-0.

However, his return to full fitness and goal scoring for Arsenal is still not enough to help him force his way into the starting line-up of the Super Eagles.

Rohr will stick with the same starting line-up, that picked up a win and a draw against Cameroon in the last round of games.

The front three of Moses Simon, Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo are sure to start against Zambia on Saturday, barring any late minute change of mind. Although injury could also see one of them drop out.
