Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has admitted that he is having a difficult time picking a starting line-up for Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
Rohr has the full compliment of the players invited for the game in Uyo, with Nigeria needing victory, to seal qualification to next year’s tournament in Russia.
The German tactician, told journalists after Wednesday evening’s training session, that the fitness level and commitment of the players, has also made it hard for him in deciding who to start the game with.
“Everybody is looking fit, no injuries, so I hope that it will be difficult for me to choose eleven starting players because everybody wants to play, so it’s a good confidence.
“Now we are going to continue tomorrow. It will be a close training session. I ask you (journalist) to understand because we need to prepare our team at least once alone,” Rohr stated.
