Arsenal have reacted to Nigeria’s goalless draw with Uganda in an international friendly game played on Tuesday evening at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
The Premier League giants reserved special praise for their player, Alex Iwobi, who was on international duty for Nigeria.
The Emirates club lauded Iwobi for his performance against the Cranes.
”Alex Iwobi played 75 minutes of Nigeria’s goalless draw in a friendly with Uganda,” Arsenal wrote on their official website.
”Our 22-year-old winger was lively throughout, but he couldn’t stop the Super Eagles from firing a blank for the first time in six outings.”
Iwobi will hope to lead the Gunners to victory when they tackle Bournemouth on Sunday in the Premier League fixture.
