Premier League club, Arsenal FC, have hailed Alex Iwobi’s impressive showing for the Super Eagles, in their 3-0 win over Togo in an international friendly in Paris on Thursday.
Iwobi provided the two assists for the Eagles’ first and second goals scored by Ahmed Musa.
Kelechi Iheanacho scored Nigeria’s third goal off an assist from Oghenekaro Etebo.
Reacting to Iwobi’s performance, Arsenal wrote on their verified Twitter handle:”Well played, @alexiwobi.”
Iwobi has also been included in coach Gernot Rohr’s 23-man squad, for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in Uyo on June 10.
