Players and coaches of the Super Eagles, on Monday, departed their Helnan Palestine base in Alexandria for Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
Nigeria have so far played all their four matches at the Africa Cup of Nations in Alexandria.
Gernot Rohr’s men have won three times, losing 2-0 to debutants Madagascar, in their final Group B fixture.
However, their quarter-final clash against South Africa will be played at the Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday.
“Thank you Alexandria. We appreciate all the love and support you gave us at our hotel, Helnan Palestine Hotel and our training ground at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport,” a tweet from the team’s handle read.
The game kicks off 8pm West African time.
