Nigeria and Arsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu has urged Nigerians to pray and support the Super Eagles ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final fixture against South Africa on Wednesday night.

He also expressed confidence that Gernot Rohr’s men are ready to beat the Bafana Bafana at the Cairo International Stadium and to make Nigerians proud.

The 42-year-old disclosed this in a video posted on his official Twitter page on Wednesday.

Nigeria head to the game after defeating AFCON defending champions, Cameroon 3-2 last weekend while South Africa defeated the host nation, Egypt 1-0.

“Nigeria vs South Africa. You know what it is,” Kanu said.

“You know what to do Nigerians. Keep supporting the Super Eagles.

“Pray, support and believe. The Super Eagles are ready. They are going to make Nigerians proud.

“We need everyone to be part of this. Keep supporting our dear team the Super Eagles to victory.”

Kick-off time for the match is 8pm.
