Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo has handed manager, Gernot Rohr list of players he should play in Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match against Seychelles.
Nigeria will tackle the Pirates of Seychelles at the Stephen Keshi Stadium from 4 p.m. on Friday and Yobo has advised Rohr on the starting eleven he feels can get the job done.
According to Yobo, Rohr should use new and younger players against Seychelles.
Speaking on Monday Night Football programme on Supersports, Yobo said: “If I were to be in Rohr’s position or to advise him I would say ‘Use the match against Seychelles to test fresh legs.
“We have qualified with a game to spare and I must congratulate the team for achieving that feat.
“So give younger players an opportunity to express themselves because after now there will be no more time.”
