Head coach of the Super Eagles has refused to comment on speculation that Ahmed Musa will replace Alex Iwobi, in his starting XI against Iceland on Friday.
It is understood that Rohr is ready to shake up the team that lost 2-0 to Croatia in their first Group D fixture, in order to get a result against the Scandinavians.
Musa replaced Iwobi in the second half of that game and impressed with his direct running and movement.
There are rumours the Leicester City man would start from the left wing, while Victor Moses is stationed on the right.
Asked about the possibility of the above happening against Iceland today, Rohr stated he will take the best decision for the game.
“We have to respect the players. First, the players need to know then the press.
“We don’t want to hide anything but we need to prepare our team the best way possible,” the German said.
