Nigeria vs Iceland: Atiku reacts to Super Eagles’ 2-0 victory

Former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Iceland in their Group D fixture at the 2018 World Cup.

Atiku, writing on his verified Twitter page, noted that victory is assured when we stand united.

“Congratulations @NGSuperEagles. Indeed a delightful evening of quality football.

“When we stand united, victory is assured,” he wrote.

Ahmed Musa scored both goals for the Super Eagles, as they claimed their first win at the tournament in Russia.

They will now face Argentina on Tuesday, hoping to book a place in the knockout rounds.
