English Premier League side Arsenal have reacted to Super Eagles’ loss to Croatia in their World Cup Group D clash at the Kaliningrad Stadium Russia on Saturday.
The Gunners had announced that they will be rooting for the Super Eagles and one of their own, Alex Iwobi.
However, the Super Eagles suffered a 2 – 0 defeat in the hands of Vatreni of Croatia in their first match.
Reacting, Arsenal in a tweet, commiserated with Super Eagles over their loss.
“It wasn’t to be for @alexiwobi and @NGSuperEagles tonight – their next game is on Friday against Island.”
