Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has said that the team needs at least 11 points, to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The German was speaking after their 4-0 win over Cameroon on Friday in Uyo.
Rohr revealed that it took six months to prepare for the clash and expressed satisfaction that the game plan worked.
“We have been planning for this game in the last six months. Before the match, we watched many videos and adhered to game plan. We need at least 11 points to qualify for the World Cup.
“I’m happy with the goalkeeper for his excellent saves. We know Kelechi Iheanacho hasn’t played regularly in his club and I’m glad that he scored in today’s game,” Rohr stated.
