Cameroon goalkeeper, André Onana has revealed what he expects from Nigeria when his side tackle the Super Eagles in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, round of 16 fixture at the Alexandria Stadium in Egpyt.
The Ajax’s shot-stopper says he expects Gernot Rohr’s men to play well against the AFCON holders this weekend.
The two West Africa countries could only finish second in their respective groups.
”I expect them (Super Eagles) to play well, as always. It is a very good team. But we are ready. We continue to the end,” Onana told Fox Sports.
”I’m excited. It’s getting exciting. Everyone wants to play such a match. We will see what happens.”
Nigeria have not lost to Cameroon since they were beaten 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier in August 1989.
