The immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, has alleged of fresh plot by federal government ahead of this Saturday’s presidential election.
Fayose on Tuesday alleged that the government is planning to use DSS and EFCC to harass INEC officials not willing to co-operate with their plans during the polls.
He disclosed this in a post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, adding that their plans will be defeated.
Fayose wrote: “The new plot is to use DSS and EFCC to harass, intimidate and coerce INEC officials that are not willing to do their biddings. But this tyranny will be defeated ultimately.”
DAILY POST recalls that Fayose had on Friday revealed plans by the All progressives Congress, APC to postpone Saturday’s presidential election.
“They are considering postponement of Saturday’s elections till 2nd week of March, using burning of INEC offices in Anambra, Abia & Plateau States as well as insecurity in some States as reasons.”
