The Super Eagles of Nigeria are still in the 45th position, after the FIFA world ranking for May was released.
Algeria remains the number one team in Africa, ahead of Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal, Cape Verde and Guinea. The North Africans have 917 points and are 20th in the overall rankings.
The top 17 teams in the world remain unchanged from April.
Germany remain number one, while Argentina and Belgium complete the highest-ranked three countries.
FIFA will publish the next world rankings on June 4, 2015.
