The Super Eagles are now ranked 45th in FIFA rankings – dropping four places from their position in 41st.
It represents the worst slide for the former African champions, after they failed to win their last two international friendlies in March.
Nigeria were beaten 1-0 on home soil by Uganda and drew 1-1 with South Africa in Nelspruit four days later.
Algeria remains the highest-ranked side on the continent despite falling three places to 21st. Cote d’Ivoire (23rd), Ghana (26th), Tunisia (30th) and Senegal (36th) complete the top five.
Overall, Germany remains the number one team in the world. Argentina, Belgium, Colombia and Brazil make up the top five nations.
The next ranking will be released on May 7, 2015.
