Candidates of major opposition political parties in Oyo State, on Thursday, met behind closed-doors and concluded arrangements on how to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The gubernatorial election is billed to take place on Saturday 9th March in the 33 local government areas of the state.
DAILY POST gathered Thursday evening that the leading candidates, among who are Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala of ADP, former Governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Ladoja, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin of ADC, Mr. Seyi Makinde of PDP, Barrister Sharafadeen Alli of ZLP and Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN) of SDP met on Thursday with a view to finalise talks on how to unseat the APC in the elections.
A source close to one of the candidates told DAILY POST that they met and resolved to continue with their meeting today (Friday).
He explained that the gladiators met at the Bodija residence of former governor, Rasidi Ladoja.
