Nigeria election results: APGA chieftain, Udensi blames FG over hitches in presidential /National As

Nnamdi Udensi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), and ex-House of Representatives candidate in Abia state has decried the malpractices that characterized the presidential/National Assembly elections held in the country during weekend.

Udensi blamed President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government refusal to sign the amended electoral act as the reason some hitches were experienced by voters during the Saturday’s polls.

The APGA chieftain made his feelings known while reacting to the outcry that trailed the malfunctioning of card readers in some polling units during the exercise, saying, ”Whatever is the outcome, Nigeria must move forward.”

“The electoral bill as ammeded would have given this election more credibility if it were passed into law.

“This moral burden of credibility will only lead to numerous avoidable legal tussle.

“Despite this mixed feelings Nigerians came out in their numbers to perform this Civic duty with many cases of killings , vote buying , and pre-thumbed ballot papers leading to widespread rigging”.
