The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Plateau State, Sen. Gyang Pwajok, has expressed satisfaction with the use of the Card Reader for accreditation of voters.
He stated this while being accredited for the polls at his Ali Kazaure Polling Unit in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Pwajok, who was accredited at about 9.25 a.m., said it took the machine just 30 seconds to confirm his eligibility to vote.
“It took not less than 30 seconds for the card reader to confirm my authenticity; this allays the fears of people over its reliability, “he said.
He appealed to the people of the state to conduct themselves calmly during the entire exercise.
