The Adamawa State Governor, Muhammadu Bindow has lost the state Government House polling units 012 and 09.
Bindow lost the state’s Government House polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP governorship candidate, Alhaji Umaru Fintiri, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mrs Sumayya Aliyu, while announcing the result of polling unit 09 on Saturday in Yola, said Fintiri scored 167 votes against Bindow’s 108 votes.
Also, Ms Yemi Adetiba Presiding Officer at polling unit 012, announced that Fintiri garnered 136 votes against Bindow’s 81.
